For the second half of the 2019-2020 school year, we are going to Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria.
Personally, I think my apprehension is about the cold winter of bulgaria. I come from a country where there is no snow and I need to prepare myself for that change.
Being a foreigner student is an opportunity to learn about different cultures and way of working, I mean we will be in an erasmus class which allow the exchange of ideas between students from around the globe.
Lets talk about the culture shock.
I have read a lot of acticles about the social culture of bulgaria, for instance in general when you move your head from the left to the right it means « No » but in bulgaria it means « yes », I can see in a restaurant how embarassing it could be.
The currency is the Leva, 1 euro = 1,95 Leva. The cost of living is 51% lower than France.
To conclude I have a brief idea about what I am going to face in Bulgaria but at the moment I cannot really take in concideration if it could be the truth or not. The reality may be different and I want to make my own opinion.
