Hi guys, I am Jonathan Busch, one of the three admin of this blog. I am currently 26 and going to Bulgaria for my Erasmus trip during my scholarship in engineering studies.
I will focus this article on how to go to the University of Veliko Tarnovo.
So first, on the 12th of February, we will take a plane from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria. The plane takes off at 12 :00 with a stopover in Athens at 16 :20 and the arrival will be at 19 :00.
Once in Sofia we will spend the night there in a hotel because the university we will be closed a that time. That way we can discover and enjoy the capital city before going to Veliko. We will explore the city to take a first glance at the Bulgarian architecture and culture. We booked a room in the Bon Bon hotel which is near the centre (850m). We can get to the hotel from the airport by taxi using the Taxime app which is an equivalent of Uber in Bulgaria.
On the 13th we will take a 6h bus trip to Veliko to get our rooms in the dormitory.
To go to the University every morning we will need to take a bus since the dormitory are not in the campus of the school.
So that is our schedule to go to Veliko and start our Erasmus trip.
